Who is sitting at your table?

I am asking this question because a week ago I had an epiphany. This came while I was in my geology lab class working with a group that I see every Monday from 2pm-4pm. One of the young men who sit at our table seems to be skilled in the material, so we ask him questions frequently. However, I noticed that he does not like giving out information unless we allow him to use something of ours or if he's stuck and needs help.
The girls that I sit with we noticed last week that he will leave without helping anyone else but he would have gotten all the answers that he needed from us. This made me think, "Who's sitting at your table Jasmine?" I got a revelation about my own life and the season that I'm in right now. I am building and I am growing, but I have allowed people to sit at the table with me who do not carry the same burden for ministry or saving the world as I have.
I have allowed women and men into my life who I help them or support them, yet they disappear once they get what I need. They are helpful only when they see a direct benefit for themselves. So, I have come to ask you, "Who is sitting at your table?" You have to protect the vision, your dreams, and your mind at all cost. You, my friend, are free to ask them to get up or you excuse yourself. We are obligated to feed the poor, the widows, and the children but the Bible talks about those who are capable yet lazy or complacent. We are not responsible for them, so we must excuse them.
